My Holiday Gift Guide Part 1 – Great Gifts for Babies

Christmas 2011

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!  Call me crazy but I love Christmas shopping.  I love finding the unique and wonderful gifts…the bargains…Black Friday and the day after Christmas.  I’m a sucker for it and I hope some of my ideas help you too!

Here are some wonderful gifts for those snuggy, cuddly holiday babies (and their Mamas) in your life!

Affiliate Link - Manhattan Toy Whoozit on Amazon

The Whoozit – Four years later I still love the Whoozit.  Watch my video from way back in April of 2008 to see the Whoozit in action…and my cute cute baby girl.

Elks and Angels Cuddle Bear

Elks & Angels Cuddle Bear – I was wandering the holiday market at Union Square yesterday and I came across the Elks & Angels sheepskin Cuddle Bear.  And it’s SO CUTE! Australian sheepskin is natural, breathable, naturally anti-bacterial, and hypo-allergenic. Love it.

Lil Shopper Playset by International Playthings

Lil Shopper Playset by International Playthings – One of my favorite dump and fill toys for babies.  The food is adorable, interactive, whimsical and takes your baby from manipulating the objects to develop fine motor skills right into imaginative play.

Organic Cotton Ball and Rattle Set by locoMOmomma

Organic Rattle and Ball Set from locoMOmomma – Consider homemade this holiday season.  I love the ecofriendly baby toys made by Columbia Missouri Mama locoMOmomma.  I’m a fan.

Baby Blanket, Organic, Woodland Friends and Cream Bubble Dot Minky

Organic Cotton Baby Blanket from SirBubbadoo – Minky. Squirrels.  Organic Cotton. Check out all the blankets in the SirBubbadoo Etsy storefront.

Totem Pole Stackers by Learning Curve

Totem Pole Stackers by Lamaze – Stackers make wonderful toys for babies. And have you seen a cuter one than this one by Lamaze?  Don’t think so.  Delicious!

Babies Gotta Have It contributing writer Kristin has her pick for the best baby Christmas gift this year!

Affiliate Link - Graco Bumper Jumper on Amazon.com

For babies 5 months and up, the jumper cannot be outdone!  It creates an educational and safe learning atmosphere, while baby gets his or her exercise!  Both our children love this.  And for those of you who do not have a doorway from which to hang it, there is also the exersaucer/jumperoo!  This one that we found even folds up for those of you with small city apartments!  While MD jumps happily, I manage to make dinner, eat dinner, and fold laundry!  it allows me for a few minutes to myself each day while he laughs and jumps away.

Affiliate Link - Quinny Zapp Vivid Colors Stroller

Quinny Zapp Xtra Q Design Stroller – I first saw this stroller walking the runway at a Quinny fashion show in Bryant Park. It’s sleek, stylish, lightweight, comes in amazing colors, and will look HOT at the playground. Check it out, Mamas.  A gift for baby…and for you!
